A fresh start, once more. Well, perhaps not as fresh as taking over by a completely new person, but still... as you might have noticed, a lot has changed in here. All thanks to the new feature of "Groups". I let this place abandoned for a long while, and I apologise, but I'm just having trouble with managing everything with connection as bad as the one at my house. The groups system will make it a lot easier though.

So after long period of death, I gladly announce this place to be alive again~

Or so I hope it will be.

A few new things that all of you will have to get done. Two things, actually.

First, membership. You might have noticed that you're not under 'members' of this group. There should be a button on the top of the page saying "Join this group". Those who are already in will get accepted automatically. Those who aren't, have to read the rules first - from now on clicking on the joining button equals sending a note. But rules of becoming a member remain.

Second of all, the gallry. I'd like all of you, dear Followers, to submit your art so I can take the club submissions off. Those of you who are in other groups should already know, but by contributing a picture or literature piece to the club, instead of a new deviation alert with a link to said deviation in the author notes, clicking on it will automatically link you to the original.

I hope I didn't explain it in a way too complex... if I did, then my apologies, just ask me if you don't understand something and I shall try my best to guide you.

Let us hope this place will come back to life at last.

I am truly saddened. It's 30th of October, and all we have are two entries for the contest.

It's a rather great failure for a first contest in such a long while. Those of you who simply did not send the entries yet, please do so by the midnight 31st of October. This is the final deadline.

On another note, I apologise sincerely for being so inactive here as of late. Real life decided to butt in with and mess around with some rather crucial things, hence I don't have as much time as I wish I had anymore. I'm sorry for that.

As most of you probably noticed by now, I have started the first competition as the new administrator of this club.

Since this place is quite dead for the time being, I announced the contest with over 2 months time until the deadline. This should give enough time for everyone to join the event, so hopefully situations like in case of Varia and Christmas contest won't repeat (1-2 entries only).

Completely purged most of the journals. OC listing will remain where it is until I transform it a bit, the Multimedia journal needs checking which links work and which don't. *sigh*

Hopefully, soon this place will be in top shape... hopefully.

It's good to finally have some response regarding at least the contest and the OCs issue. I will be taking care of both sometime later this week. Thank you all those who commented~♥

Seems like there was no real response to the previous update... well, up to the members. Please do not whine though if I just go and do as I please, despite the feeling that I already upset quite a bit of the old members. I'm sorry in advance and I hope you understand.

This update is important, so please bear with its length, read it and respond.

I.The memberlist has been updated. However there still might be members missing from it. Hence please check if you are on the list and leave a message in case you're not.

II. There are issues regarding old contests. Namely, the Varia and Christmas ones, both won by ~Sharingan-girlie. Data regarding result of the Christmas contest prizes isn't here, and the artist who volunteered to make the reward for the other contest has yet to note me back.
Hence, a question. Would someone volunteer to eventually take up making the prizes for those two contests? I'd like to know this as fast as possible, the winner deserves recognition after all.

III. Regarding contests, it would be in place to hold one soon. I'll change one of the old journals into a contest discussion. Please drop in ideas in comments or through notes here for the time being. I personally suggest we should hold a 'Halloween' contest, but that's still quite a far future - then again, this would give those who want to enter some time, and the winner could be announced on the day.
I'll be waiting for ideas!

IV. Last, but not the least. An issue - if I may call it that - of OCs. The other of only two existing Noah clubs is indeed dead, I talked with the admin. Noah OCs on the other hand, have something akin to their own club, although it's a bit different in nature than this one. This and the fact that we now know ALL the Noah family members leads me to believe further that the OCs and original Noahs should be kept separately, and I've been straining my head for a while with how to achieve that without discriminating anyone in the club.
Also, I talked with my DGM friends from outside this place. Loathe to admit, but many of them kept away from this club exactly because of the OCs.
Best solution I managed to come up with, is the following: moving all the OC pictures into 'scraps' section of gallery. I realise it sounds awful because of the fact that it's 'scraps', so meant in theory for something worse, but this is not my intent.
If OC arts will get uploaded into scraps, then they will be simply out of the main gallery entirely, and other watchers won't get notification of OC arts. Those who do want to get alerts of OC pictures/stories however will simply have to tick "scraps" on their devwatch list by the club.
This solution seems to be the best one out there... but I don't want to do it without getting to know the members' opinion first. So please tell me, again either through here or through notes, if this solution will be alright with you.

Once more, I'm sorry for the long update, but those points need solving. Thank you in advance for understanding and responding.
